Search for Clues
Let's start the order with the main thing-collecting information that the customer will tell us.
From a conversation with a soldier, we learn that a daring attack was recently made on a night patrol of soldiers. The entire patrol, despite all their combat experience, fell at the hands of the attacker, and given the state of the corpses, their colleagues concluded that the monster who settled in the borders of Novigrad was responsible for the incident.
But all the corpses were burned, and the last person who conducted the examination and can tell you more about their condition was a doctor who can now be found at the docks. Which is what Geralt will do.
We go to the area marked on the map and start a conversation with the same doctor. His story confirmed the guards' fear, since the bodies of the dead were dried up, but no traces of claws or fangs, the situation becomes even more confusing. The only thing that remains for the Witcher is to proceed to the place where the dead were found, and already at the crime scene to search for clues.
Arriving at the scene of the crime, "turn on" the Witcher's instinct, Geralt will find hoof prints that clearly belonged to a two-legged upright creature.
The Witcher will follow the trail left behind and found an abandoned bottle of perfume, which allows you to get a new direction of search.

Succubus
It will lead you to the brothel "Crippled Kate's", a fairly well-known budget institution, whose frequent guests are the guards themselves.
Go to the brothel and talk to its owner, if necessary, use the services of one of its employees.
An unfruitful conversation will lead to the fact that it will only be necessary to continue to explore the traces left by the spirits.
The scent of perfume will lead Geralt to a closed house, next to which there is something concerned about a local resident.
He will be confused, and the conversation will not do much good. He was in the house, and Geralt would make a reasonable assumption that he might have been drugged by a succubus.
The door to the house is closed, so you will need to find another entrance. To do this, go around the house on the left side and go upstairs, where you will find a staircase. Once at the top, go through the stage and go up to the attic of the house we need.
Next, go down to meet the succubus, where a conversation will begin, implying certain consequences:
- "You got it" - this choice will lead to a battle with a succubus. The choice is controversial, since such impulsiveness is not in the spirit of a Witcher, killing without listening to the explanation of a thinking monster. In addition, the murder of Salma will affect the progress of the quest "Skellige's Most Wanted".
- "I wanna talk" - Salma will tell you that the murder of the guards is the result of self-defense. After listening to the story, Geralt can choose:
- Still, fight with Salma-the result is described above;
- Offer her to leave the city in exchange for saving her life.
The succubus will accept the offer and give Geralt a silver sword, despite his anger at the Witcher.
All you have to do is go to the customer to get the reward, lie to him about Salma's death, and continue your adventures with a clear conscience.
