xGamerss is an English-language gaming site covering guides, reviews, hardware, and gaming news. We're looking for people who actually play games and can write about them honestly.
Who We're Looking For
We need writers with real gaming experience — people who can explain a game's mechanics from memory, share personal opinions, and write in a way that feels human. We're not looking for generic summaries that anyone (or any AI) could produce.
Real gaming background
You've spent hundreds of hours in the games you write about. You know the meta, the community, the history.
Good English writing
Clear, engaging prose. Doesn't need to be perfect — but it needs to sound like a person, not a template.
Niche knowledge
We value depth over breadth. If you know RPGs inside-out, that's better than knowing a little about everything.
Reliable delivery
We don't need daily articles — we need articles that arrive when promised and don't need three rounds of revision.
Important — About AI Content
We know how easy it is to generate an article with ChatGPT or Claude. We've been there, and we've wasted money on it. AI-generated content looks fine at first glance but fails at the things that matter: original insight, specific game knowledge, personal voice.
We run AI detection on every submission. More importantly, we know what AI writing looks like — generic structures, vague descriptions, zero personal opinion. If your article could have been written by someone who has never played the game, it will be rejected and we won't work together again.
Using AI as a grammar or spelling helper is fine. Using it to write the article for you is not.
What We Offer
We're at an early stage of growing the English site, which means we're selective but flexible. We'll discuss the format and compensation individually based on your background and what you want to write. We're not a content farm — if you're good, we'll treat you well.

Registered users can submit articles for consideration. If you have a gaming blog or write about games as a hobby, this is a way to reach a bigger audience. Create an account to get started — approved articles go live on xgamerss.com with your name on them.
How to Apply

Send us 1-2 samples of your writing Published or unpublished — anything that shows how you write about games. Blog posts, Reddit deep-dives, forum posts all count.

Tell us what games you know best List your top genres, franchises, or platforms. Be specific — "RPGs" is less useful than "Soulsborne games and classic JRPGs on PC."

Complete a test assignment We'll give you a specific topic (one we haven't covered yet) and a brief. This is paid if we publish it, free if we don't. The topic will be something where generic AI output is obviously useless — we'll know instantly if you know what you're talking about.
